• all our guides are very knowledgeable about Patagonia, they give the tour a special touch with their good humor and relaxed nature.

about Patagonia:

Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego are fascinating and extreme territories. You will find plenty of adventure, challenge and nature in this enchanting part of the world. With almost no other people on the road than an occasional gaucho you will get a strong feeling of untouched landscape. Along the way we pass mesmerizing scenery such as ancient forests, the sea, mountains, grasslands, lakes, glaciers, picturesque villages and traditional ranches.

Roads and traffic
About 70% of the tour will be driven on well maintained asphalt roads, during the rest of the trip we drive on gravel roads. These gravel roads are usually in good condition but it is possible to encounter some more difficult parts. It is therefore desirable to have some “off road” experience but you don’t need to be an expert. Our experienced guides are ready to teach you the techniques and tricks for tougher parts. There is very little traffic in general and only in and around the cities will we meet other cars and trucks.

Daily stages
The average daily distance we drive will be around 350 km, this means we spend about 6 to 8 hours on the road including breaks for pictures, lunch and sightseeing. The more gravel road the shorter usually is the daily route; the longest daytrip of 470 km will be on asphalt road only. Our tours will never feel like a race against time, you are on holiday and we want you to enjoy it!

All our tours take place in the summer season (November – March) in which travelling in our region is most pleasant. Nonetheless bear in mind that Patagonia is known for its harsh weather, even in summer the average temperature does not exceed 18 degrees Celsius. The almost omnipresent Patagonian wind can reach up to 80 to 100 km per hour, which makes it advisable to bring some warm clothing along.

“So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”
